About the Business

Where are the black wine makers?

Abner Montfleury, a first generation Haitian-American, sought to diversify the space.

What began as attending wine festivals in search of black-owned brands, led to years of diligent work and planning. A vision was put forth.

He is committed to making fine wines, evocative and meaningful to the soul, with every high-quality and well-balanced bottle shared.

What we're funding

At Montfluer Duvin, we're looking for ways to serve more great customers across the area through Covid-19 and beyond. This campaign will allow us to raise funds to expand our footprint into retail stores. Support us here on NuMarket and stay tuned to hear what that new growth for Monfluer Duvin means!

Q & A

  • What will you spend the funds on?

We'll be using the funds to expand into more retail locations.

  • Where did you get the name from?

Inspiration for our inaugural wine name comes from my grandmother, Marie Yvonne Galette Montfleury, who transitioned on November 27, 2019. She carried her spirit of living in the moment, making memories, and celebrating life to the fullest extent during her time here. I want that feeling to be imbued in every sip of this wine.

  • Are you currently selling your wine?

Yes! We're selling our first wine online and in select stores.
